Welcome

As of September 1, 2019 I am not taking on new clients. For eating disorder concerns, please contact MEDA (medainc.org) for other referral options. For other mental and behavioral health issues please contact the Social Work Therapy Referral Service (therapymatcher.org).

I am still available for clinical supervision and consultation, as well as speaking engagements and presentations. -L

“The curious paradox is when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.” -Carl Rogers

I believe therapy is about healing, growth and change. I use an integrated approach to help clients explore their emotions and behaviors without judgement. My goal is to help clients gain insight, understand how their past experiences influence the present, and develop a better understanding of themselves. Through this work people are able to improve relationships, get out of negative patterns, build resilience, and live happier, healthier lives. I see therapy as very active process, with both the client and the therapist putting in considerable effort and working together.
